Hot Item for Christmas 2009?

By Krystyl Posted on November 24th, 2009 In Blog

I was doing a little online Christmas shopping/scoping out today. I noticed something, that alot of San Francisco consumers, such as myself, and even those outside of San Francisco would find extremely useful.

The “One Trip Grip Bag Holder” – Avg Retail: $4.99 pc.

Keep in mind, when I leave my house, this usually means giving up my parking space in San Francisco. Leaving it up for grabs to the first driver, who has been driving around for hours looking for parking, to come screeching to the spot to park.

When I do decide its time to give up prime real estate, I am gone for several hours. Typically to run errands, see friends who I havn’t seen in a while, maybe even make a small little trip down the coast. But never do I come home empty handed.

Upon my return of my glorious adventures, I will of course, be forced to drive around (much like others do) looking for parking. Sometimes I luck out with prime real estate, not having to be forced to carry my new purchases far distances.

I decided today that I wanted to buy the One Trip Grip Bag Holder. And here is what I found:

spacesavers

SpaceSavers.com, the company who seems to advertise this product the most at $4.99 is  – ‘Temporarily out of Stock’!

bedbathandbeyondThen I figured, I get mailings from Bed Bath and Beyond more than enough, sometimes they offer $15 towards a purchase, maybe i’ll use one of those for once…. Nope! ‘Out of Stock’

wdrake

Walter Drake (wdrake.com) advertises it as $7.99.  Figured, hey! For a few dollars more, at least ill have this item in my hot little hands….then BAM they hit me with “This item is ‘expected’ (not guaranteed) to be in stock on 12/14/2009″

I hate having to resort to Ebay and Amazon.  You are always tacked with shipping and handling costs that end up costing more than the product itself.

But I lucked out! I found a sweet deal for 2 of them for $10.99 and free shipping!!!!  SWEET!!!

Ebay win’s this round…. Until next time – enjoy your holiday shopping folks! It’s a mess out there!
