3 years ago, I was called in to work a ‘comic book’ type convention. As uninterested as I was about the comic books, I was told I would get to dress up as a cavegirl. Of course, I’m a girl, and I love dressing up….what better than to dress up in a costume and to get paid for it!
This year was different. Although approached to work for a few different companys to try and promote their product, I denied all opportunties. I wanted to go for myself, and have some fun without having the pressure of having to ‘work’.
I somehow managed to get 3 very awesome friends together as 1, and go as the Alice in Wonderland theme. We gathered Alice, The Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, and the White Rabbit.
The coolest person who I seem to run into every year, is Hot Fuzz…sure the character is hot…but it makes you wonder ‘whos the man behind the glasses’?
Sunday, I went back, and dressed up as Little Bo Peep and made some friends along the way.
This year was a blast! I am hoping to make it to Comic Con in San Diego this year.
