Legendary pin-up model Bettie Paige dies at age 85. Leaving behind her pin-up style image, and proving to others to be comfortable with who you are and your style.
Apple pulls out of Macworld, announcing that Steve Jobs will NOT be giving the keynote during the last and final show in 2009.
The mystery to John Walsh’s sons murder from 1983 was solved. Making 1 more case for America’s Most Wanted, solved.
OJ Simpson will finally do jail time, not for killing his ex-wife….
Michael Phelps becomes an all time Olympic gold medal champion and heart throbe for about 15 minutes (most have already forgotten who he is)
Teen commits suicide on Justin.TV. Causing a lot of jaws to drop, and wonder how serious the internet world has an impact on individuals and their lives.
Apple quickly comes out with Iphone 3G only what seems like less than 6 months after I got the 2G. Main issue with phone is battery life is not long, but is somewhat fixed with an update released shortly after launch.
Personal: (not in order)
My car was impounded, leaving me for 8 1/2 months without a vehicle.
Acquired a new car. All is back to normal again 
I secretly got a ‘real job’ without letting people know what I ‘really do’ for a living, officially making August of 2008 my last month for a photoshoot.
Resigned from broadcasting, then went back 4 months later
Went to the Bay 2 Breakers race in San Francisco, losing all but 1 person half way through the race.
Dyed my hair brown, and cut it off only to realize I hated it later. Attempting to bleach it out again only made it worse and is now a ‘fix in progress’
Started Tuesday night JustinTV hangout’s with DailyTechTalk and JTV Community Manager. Only to end a few weeks later due to me living so far away 
Started using Facebook proactively – Myspace is now secondary. (make sure to add me as a friend on both)
Twitter has become my BFF. Don’t forget to follow me!
My 2009 Plans:
1.) Lose the weight I put on during 2008.
2.) Stay focused on a training program that will help with plan #1
3.) If plan #1 and #2 stay, I want to run a half marathon this year…or walk it really fast
4.) Take an advanced class for sign language
5.) Go back to working for myself
6.) Move to Canada
Although there is still more in 2008, I am looking forward to 2009 and a whole new track of adventures!
