I-Buddy

Your newest friend

I have to admit, I spend my money on things that I don’t need…alot of things I dont need to be honest.

And i’m always buying some gadget to keep me mildly entertained for hopefully longer than 24 hours.

My newest toy of fun and excitement, is from Union Creations Limited, called the I-buddy

You can purchase the I-Buddy from Usb.brando.com.hk for $20 with only $3 shipping to anywhere in the world!

You can connect him to your computer via usb cable which is included with him. He comes with a mini-cd for easy installation (or you can download the drivers from the Union Creations Limited website).

What does he do?

His body lights up for different emotions that are sent to you via your IM. Specifically programmed to use with MSN messenger.

He is fully customizable to your liking. If you would only like him to notify you if one specific person has logged online, his wings will flap and he lights up to alert you. While in a conversation with that specific person, he will replay the emotions that are sent through via emoticon. Such as the heart eyes, his heart lights up and his wings flutter.

The toy is approximately 3 inches tall. And comes with a clip that you can attach to the top of your monitor (if it is thin enough). Or you can put him on your desk to keep you company.

Comes in 2 colors, Green and Orange to choose from. Green is the traditional MSN colors and Orange seems to be the ‘fun filled’ colors as of late.

Comes packaged with:

USB I-Buddy
Mountaing Clip
USB Cable
User Manual
Cd Driver

OS:

Seems to only be available for Windows XP/Vista at the moment (good thing you can run windows on a MAC now :-P )

The down side:

The gears in his body are slightly noisy when moving, but you can easily tune them out with his awesomeness!

The Upside:

Super cute! And a great gift for anyone! Does not require batterys, and can keep you entertained for almost 24 hours (depending on your A.D.D.)
