Just recently, I went into my cabinet to pull out a package of Kool-Aid to whip up during the hot summer heat.
As I opened the package, I remembered I had several points that I had collected over the years and wanted to add another point to it…
I picked up my little blue package of Tropical Punch, and looked, and looked, and opened it up to look inside….
To my surprise there was NO POINT!!!!
Where did they go? How could you take them away from us?
So I investigated!
I found out that Kool-Aid announced in early 2007 that they were going to stop distributing the points and that they would take down the Point catalog as well. By April 2008, they had discontinued the points and the only way to see the catalog is to call their 800 number and ask for one to be mailed to you.
This saddens me as I have spent many years collecting points only to find out that they have abruptly stopped them for a reason no one can really explain.
I will forever miss you kool-aid points!!!!
